Hard Times

This fellow is homeless and lives on the streets around my neighborhood. He asked me for money, and I told him I would give him money if he allowed me to take his picture. He was suspicious about that, but I told him he was to be a model for a piece of art. About six month later, I met him again and showed him the picture. He was pleased.
Roadside Church

After a Catholic Church about a mile from where I live. I love to walk past it because it is so beautiful.

This is one of a series of self portraits. One advantage of self portraits is that one does not have to pay the model, who in this case turns out to be a rather agreeable old guy.
Sweet Margaret's Smile

My wife, who is wonderfully intelligent and beautiful. I call her Sweet Margaret because she has such a nice disposition and treats me so well.
